Bucky on Parade

May 7–September 12

Bucky on Parade is a free public art event, bringing 85 life-size Bucky Badger statues to the streets of Madison and Dane County. Local and regional artists have transformed these Bucky statues into unique works of art to create one of the largest public art events in the country.

Thanks to Bucky on Parade producers, The Madison Area Sports Commission, along with the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin Athletics, and the Wisconsin Foundation & Alumni Association for bringing this project to life. Garding Against Cancer is thrilled to be the primary beneficiary of the Parade, along with other beneficiaries, Madison Area Sports Commission, and other community charities.

Bucky on Parade will provide many opportunities for the community to get involved and be a part of the fun during the parade months. Please join the Bucky on Parade Fan Club to stay in the loop on event happenings. Stay tuned for more information on the parade finale party on September 29 at the Kohl Center, where nearly 30 statues will be available as part of the fundraising auction.

Take a selfie and support Garding Against Cancer

The American Family Insurance Dreams Foundation will donate $5 to Garding Against Cancer, up to $10,000, for every person who posts a photo of him/herself on Twitter with the Spark A Dream Bucky and tags it #BuckyOnParade and #AmFamBucky.
